Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field. Experience with PCR, DNA sequencing and plasmid cloning is a must.


Job Detail:

For this opportunity the selected candidate will provide research support to a Molecular Biology lab. The candidate will run PCR, DNA extractions and plasmid cloning. DNA sequencing will be done on purified cloned plasmids and possibly PCR product.

This work will include generation of plant expression vectors and characterization of DNA sequences isolated from plant tissues. Skills with Western, Northern and/or Southern blots is a strong plus. The candidate must possess a Bachelors degree in Biology or related field.

The mechanical engineer will be involved in heavy industrial facility design. The candidate should possess good analytical and communication skills and should be an excellent team player.

Preparation of cost estimates and mechanical equipment specifications. Developing designs and calculations for the use of mechanical equipment in specific projects for cement, lime and other heavy industrial plants
